Is impotence linked to fibromyalgia ?
Impotence has been associated with myofascial pains syndrome (MPS) a condition that commonly coexists with fibromyalgia. The bulbospongiosus and ischiocavernosus muscles that help maintain erection of the penis can develop painful myofascial trigger points (TrPs) that ultimately lead to painful sex and/or impotence.
